Description
Academic work in order to make a summary about the typeface Clarendon. Created in 1845 in England by Robert Besley (1794 -1876). It was the first source protected by registration and also the first bold font to highlight within Roman texts. With the characteristics of clarity and readability, was used for titles and billboards. It was widely used in Wanted posters in the old West. In 1953 it was redesigned by Hermann Eidenbenz. It is used in famous logos like Sony, Wells Fargo, Ruby Tuesday, Pitchfork and many others.
